- From the Newton Free Public Library, The Children's Fiction Guide allows you to look for books by genre and format, up through sixth grade.
- The Newton Library also has a page of recommended titles for Teens, with similar search features.
- School Library Journal's Best Middle Grade Books of 2014 is a great list to catch up on the latest and greatest books for grades 4 to 6 (and follow the link for non fiction, and additional age ranges, plus their Best YA titles of 2014)
